Washington State University (WSU) is a public research university located in Pullman, Washington. Founded in 1890, it is the second-oldest university in the state of Washington. WSU has additional campuses in Spokane, Tri-Cities, Vancouver, and Everett.
The Carson College of Business at WSU offers a variety of MBA programs, including a full-time MBA, an executive MBA, and an online MBA. The full-time MBA program is a two-year program that emphasizes experiential learning through real-world projects and internships. Students can choose to specialize in areas such as marketing, finance, or international business. The executive MBA program is designed for mid-career professionals and offers a flexible schedule with classes held on Fridays and Saturdays. The online MBA program allows students to complete their degree entirely online, with the option to attend on-campus immersion sessions.
WSU is also known for its entrepreneurship programs, with the Carson College of Business offering a Certificate in Entrepreneurship as well as an entrepreneurship major for undergraduate students. In addition, the university hosts the annual Business Plan Competition, which offers cash prizes to student-led startup ventures.
WSU is also recognized for its research programs, with a focus on areas such as agriculture, health, and renewable energy. The university is a member of the Association of American Universities and has been designated as a “very high research activity” institution by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
