The University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) is a public research university located in Wilmington, North Carolina, United States. It was founded in 1947 as Wilmington College, and later became part of the University of North Carolina system in 1969.
The university offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs through its seven colleges and schools, including the Cameron School of Business, which offers an AACSB-accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
