Robert Morris University (RMU) is a private university located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. It was founded in 1921 as the Pittsburgh School of Accountancy and was later renamed in honor of Robert Morris, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States and a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
RMU offers over 80 undergraduate and graduate degree programs across five schools: the School of Business, the School of Engineering, Mathematics and Science, the School of Communications and Information Systems, the School of Education and Social Sciences, and the School of Nursing and Health Sciences. The university also offers online programs and has partnerships with several international institutions.
The School of Business is one of the largest schools at RMU, offering undergraduate and graduate programs in accounting, finance, management, marketing, and sport management. The School is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which is considered the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.
