While you study disciplines separately, you also analyse how they interrelate in practice through studying integrative cases and applying knowledge to practice through a series of ‘Leadership Engagement’ challenges.

MBA Project

For the final stage of your programme you choose an MBA project. This can be a dissertation, an individual consultancy project, a group consultancy project or a business start-up plan. This final project connects the knowledge and expertise you have gained throughout the programme and gives you the opportunity to pursue an area of interest in depth.

Personal and Professional Development

Throughout your programme, the Personal and Professional Development module and Critical Approaches to Business modules act as pillars of support for your MBA studies and career development.

The Personal and Professional Development module begins at your induction, during which you prepare a Personal and Professional Development Journal. On completion of the module you will have an assessed Action Plan to help guide you through your career development. The Critical Approaches to Business module helps you develop the critical thinking and research skills needed for MBA study.

You choose how you study

The Oxford Brookes Global MBA is a blended programme and you can choose how you study. MBA modules can be studied online or intensively on-campus for one-week periods or a combination of both. This gives you the flexibility to fit the MBA programme around your work and personal commitments. In addition, you experience learning and interaction with our MBA community both face-to-face and online, which reflects today’s dynamic global working environment.

The MBA is highly interactive, challenging and supportive. Tutors facilitate business debates, involving MBA participants worldwide, making this a truly global programme where experiences are shared and networks developed. You can complete the programme in 30 months. ACCA members can receive credit for certain modules, enabling them to complete the distance learning programme in 24 months. If you choose to study selected modules on campus you may be able to finish your MBA in a shorter time period.
