North Carolina Central University

North Carolina Central University (NCCU) is a public historically black university located in Durham, North Carolina, United States. NCCU was founded in 1910 as the National Religious Training School and Chautauqua for the Colored Race. Over the years, the institution evolved and expanded its academic programs, eventually becoming a university in 1969.
