Middle Tennessee State University

Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is a public university located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, United States. It was founded in 1911 as Middle Tennessee State Normal School, and over the years it has grown and evolved into a comprehensive university offering a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degree programs.

MTSU’s Jennings A. Jones College of Business offers several graduate programs, including a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Accountancy (MAcc), and a Master of Science in Management (MSM). The MBA program is designed for working professionals, and can be completed either part-time or full-time. The program is offered in a hybrid format, which combines online coursework with in-person classes on evenings and weekends. The MBA curriculum consists of 36 credit hours, and covers core business topics such as accounting, finance, marketing, management, and operations. The MAcc program is designed for students who have completed an undergraduate degree in accounting, and who wish to meet the 150-hour requirement for becoming a certified public accountant (CPA). The program is 30 credit hours in length, and covers advanced accounting topics such as auditing, taxation, and financial reporting.

The MSM program is designed for working professionals who wish to enhance their management skills and advance their careers. The program is offered in a hybrid format, and can be completed either part-time or full-time. The curriculum consists of 33 credit hours, and covers topics such as organizational behavior, strategic management, and international business.

In addition to these graduate programs, MTSU also offers a number of undergraduate business programs, including a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with majors in accounting, finance, management, and marketing, among others.
