Lewis University

Lewis University is a private Catholic university located in Romeoville, Illinois, about 35 miles southwest of Chicago. The university was founded in 1932 as the Holy Name Technical School and was renamed Lewis Holy Name Technical School of Joliet in 1934. It became Lewis College of Science and Technology in 1962 and gained university status in 1973.

Lewis University offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across its seven colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education and Social Sciences, the College of Aviation, the College of Nursing and Health Professions, the College of Professional Studies, and the Graduate School.

The College of Business at Lewis University offers several MBA programs, including a traditional MBA, a dual degree MBA/JD program in partnership with Chicago-Kent College of Law, and several specialized MBA programs, including MBA in Aviation Management, MBA in Healthcare Administration, MBA in Information Security, and MBA in Project Management. The traditional MBA program can be completed in one year or up to three years on a part-time basis. Students in the MBA program can choose from several specializations, including Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resources Management, Information Technology, International Business, Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain Management.

The College of Business at Lewis University is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The ACBSP accreditation is an internationally recognized standard of excellence in business education. The college is also a member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), a global organization that sets the highest standards of excellence for business education.

In addition to the MBA programs, the College of Business at Lewis University also offers undergraduate programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Security and Risk Management, and Management, as well as a Master of Science in Information Security program. The college has a strong commitment to experiential learning and offers students opportunities for internships, cooperative education, and study abroad programs.
