Idaho State University (ISU) is a public research university located in Pocatello, Idaho, United States. It was founded in 1901 as the Academy of Idaho, and in 1963 it became Idaho State University.

ISU offers a wide variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including degrees in the arts, sciences, education, business, engineering, and health sciences. The university also offers doctoral programs in fields such as psychology, pharmacy, and nuclear science.
